We use volunteers at the The Shepherd’s Table for performing day to day task which follow the schedule below
- Noon – 2:00 p.m. – Volunteers set the tables, make tea, cut cakes, etc.
- 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Preparing Meals to be served
- 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Meal Service begins with volunteers serving guest and maintaining the dining room area. Also, washing and restocking needed goods, plate ware, and silverware.
In addition, we use volunteers to organize/rotate food in the freezer, mop floors, pick up/make deliveries, change table cloths and table decorations in the dining room each month and help with administrative tasks. There are also opportunities for our volunteers to become larger parts of our organization by becoming members of a committee at The Shepherd’s Table.
